Purpose Games is a free service that allows users to create custom games, share games, and play games. There are two styles of games that you can create and play on Purpose Games. The simpler of the two styles is a fairly basic multiple choice game. The other style uses images and maps on which players have to name the places represented by place marks on the image or maps. Wordwall allows you to create interactive resources online for use in class or at home. Activities are often games, but you can use it to bring more standard coursebook activities to life such as matching tasks. Taboo.AI.The game “Taboo” – or a variation of it – is often used in classrooms (see here for lots of ways it’s used). The latest very creative version of it is called Taboo.AI. In it, you pick a category, and are then shown words in that category. You are challenged to write a question/prompt that will get the AI to come up with that word.Even better, you can submit your own category and word list that they will consider uploading to the site.
